Welcome to the Diocese of Kajo-Keji, one of the vibrant dioceses within the Province of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan (ECSS). Situated in the heart of Central Equatoria, our diocese shares borders with Juba County to the north, Lainya and Morobo counties to the west, Magwi County to the east, and Moyo and Yumbe districts of Uganda to the south.
In January 2017, political unrest in Kajo-Keji forced the diocese to temporarily relocate from Romogi to Moyo, Uganda. We were warmly received by the Diocese of Madi and West Nile, who offered us refuge during these difficult times. Despite these challenges, our commitment to serve our community remained steadfast. In 2021, we joyfully resumed full operations in Kajo-Keji while continuing to care for our congregation in both Kajo-Keji and the refugee camps in Uganda’s West Nile region.
We are honored to have you with us, and we hope this platform serves as a valuable resource for all who seek to learn more about our ministry and work.
