The Diocese of Kajo Keji through its effort of strengthening the education unit among its people, has received a massive support from some esteem partners such as Brickworks UK, New Hope Campaign US, GZB Netherlands and some well-wishers among others that enables the Diocese to support 8 schools in the refugee camp and about 11 schools in Kajo Keji County. Whereby, 16 are Primary Schools, 2 are Secondary Schools and one College that is rapidly growing in the country side (Kajo Keji).
The Diocese is currently engaged in renovations, giving teacher’s stipends, vegetable growing in schools, Primary teachers’ education and supervisory duties among others both in the refugee camp and in Kajo Keji. However, due to the negative post war results in Kajo Keji, the diocese has not yet officially opened the schools in Kajo Keji. But rather, renovation is going on in the 6 supported schools under the New Hope Campaign US.

Those life skills were purposely designed to provide excellent education with Christian value to develop study and writing skill, engaging in productive work and care for the environment. The school enrolment in Kajo-Kaji 339 pupils were enrolled in two school and 3,263 pupils from primary 4 to 7 and 140 students in the secondary school in the refugee settlement. Total of 3,742 learners were receiving education service in the Diocesan supported schools. Due to Covid 19 the education program is badly affected, lower classes could were unable to attend classes for over one and half academic year. Pray for the total healing of the nations from the Pandemic and for the vaccines that will be sufficient enough for the age group who could receive it. And this activities are still continuing after when pupils enroll back to school.
