Diocese of Kajo-Keji – Faith, Development and Relief Agency (DKK FADRA)

currently carrying out Agriculture Project to improve food security for Returnees Reintegration in Kajo-Keji County.

There are about 45,000 returnees who are resettling in Kajo-Keji County. They are coming from the refugee camps in Uganda. They were forced to the exile due to the conflict in south Sudan in 2016. They are returning to KK because the situation in the refugee camp is hard in terms of fuel (Firewood) for cooking and limited land for cultivation.

The Episcopal Diocese of Kajo-Keji, with generous support from GZB, continues to stand alongside returnees as they rebuild their lives. In a spirit of love and solidarity, the Diocese has extended a warm welcome home by providing vital agricultural assistance—distributing crop seeds such as beans and groundnuts. These seeds are more than just inputs; they are a symbol of renewal and resilience. By boosting farming activities, families are empowered to cultivate their land, sustain their livelihoods, and restore hope for a brighter future. Together, we are sowing the seeds of life,
dignity, and self-reliance in Kajo-Keji.
